I am an undergraduate at MIT studying Brain and Cognitive Sciences and Biology, and I am interested in medicine and computer science. My research interests include neurodegenerative and neurological diseases, computational biology, and clinical research. Through my research experiences, I have worked on projects ranging from neurological autoimmune disease to Alzheimer’s disease, and I am especially interested in how research can translate into better ways of understanding and treating disease.
Outside of research, I enjoy volunteering in healthcare settings, mentoring students in STEM, and exploring the connection between neuroscience and art. I founded Project Art for the Mind to bring hands-on art activities to assisted living and memory care communities, combining my interests in art, neuroscience, and service. At MIT, I hope to continue exploring different areas of biomedical research while working toward a career in medicine.
